Villa Mangiacane

We couldn’t be more thrilled to celebrate this special chapter of our lives with you at Villa Mangiacane, a breathtaking 15th-century villa nestled in the heart of the Chianti countryside, just outside Florence.

Built for the Machiavelli family and designed by Michelangelo himself, the villa is steeped in history and surrounded by the rolling hills, olive groves, and vineyards that make Tuscany so magical. Walking the property, you’ll feel the echoes of Renaissance Florence while soaking in panoramic views that stretch all the way to the Duomo.

The name Mangiacane translates to “Great Dog,” a symbol of loyalty, strength, and guardianship. We love the idea that this villa, once a noble estate, now serves as the guardian of our most important celebration with the people we love most.

What drew us here was not only the villa’s beauty and history (& dog statues - shoutout Kobe), but also its warmth and intimacy. It feels like a true Tuscan home—grand yet welcoming, elegant yet relaxed. From sprawling gardens to centuries-old art and architecture, every corner tells a story, and we can’t wait to make it part of ours with all of you.

Together, we’ll enjoy the villa’s wine, food, and charm as it becomes the backdrop to our weekend of celebration. We hope you’ll fall in love with Villa Mangiacane the way we did.
